I am trying to take this as slowly as I can this week because it is powerful, but please understand, the enemy will fight hard to keep this truth from us because he does not want us to be set free…and he certainly does not want us to free others either!

Hi Friends, Diane here. Remember when we studied 2Co 5:17? We are a New Creation in Christ. The old has gone, the new has come…and this is one of the truths the devil fights so hard to keep from us. Instead, we believe the lies that, what we DO defines WHO we are. This is NOT so, my Friends. Jesus alone defines WHO we are! And in Him we are New.
Now that our identity has changed, Jesus begins to work on our behavior. Only when Jesus transforms our WHO, can our DO consistently change to reflect Him, more and more. But if we do not guard our identity, then we will act like that old person all over again. What we DO flows from WHO we believe we are. If you still think you are a sinner, then don’t be surprised if you continue to sin. But if you are willing to believe the Truth…oh it changes everything.
