Thank You, Lord:
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Rev 21:4 NIV
No more death. This includes those death symptoms we talked about before. No more depression, anxiety, anger, confusion, bitterness, and so on. We will know God’s Will and will obey it freely, willingly and immediately for the benefit of everyone involved. Jesus will definitely be our Lord, providing for all our needs and we will be His people, serving Him and one another with love, peace and joy. Utopia, many would call it. I am just dreaming this week, so won’t you join me? I so look forward to embracing my Baby Girl, Rebecca, again. To see what she already sees. To be free of those prideful struggles when I still falsely think life is all about “ME,” and instead, I will always put Jesus and others first. Ahhh, to love and be loved. Won’t it be grand?!
Thank God, the more mature I am getting, the more I can live that type of selfless life here. Do I get it all right? Absolutely not! Last time I tried to walk on water, I sunk! I am NOT the perfect one! But part of growing into this New Life is learning from our mistakes. I can teach you from my victories, but you will probably learn more from my failures. I know I do. Maybe I am only talking about myself here, but sometimes I can get a bit full of myself when I do “get it right.” And God in His mighty wisdom, allows errors to help us humbly grow, so we can experience more deeply this “Land of No Mores” here. We will continue tomorrow…
