Learning from Our Good Father

God is a Good, Good Father. The way He connects and works with us is the way we should be teaching our children, right from birth. But of course, we cannot teach something we do not know for ourselves. And so we must continue to grow in Christ, so He can make us self-LESS children. As we do this, we learn from the Greatest Father of all to be patient with our children, as well as everyone else He places in our path, and teach them by example that life is not about MMI, but about this amazing relationship with our Creator. This means not running to the aid of others the moment they begin to cry about the stresses of life. Instead, like God, we give them time to use their Free Will for that which it was given to us: to help us 1- be aware there is a problem, then 2- to connect with God, and lastly 3- to trust Him further, growing in our Faith, so we CAN have peace no matter what happens.

God allows us some time to decide what we will do when we are hungry for some peace. He allows us some time to resolve some dirty issues we get ourselves into. He allows us some time to choose to come and rest in Him. He allows us some time to figure out the best place is to be in His arms, let Him hold us, let Him fill us with peace. We were created by God, for God. The more we understand this, the more we will live life from the inside out, and the more peace and relaxation we will experience. And then we can display this to our children and others around us, multiplying this peace. That’s the Plan…let’s choose today to work with God, as He works on our levels of peace.
