Love Does Not Waste

And the greatest of these is Love. We will talk about this verse next week, but let’s wrap up this week by saying this verse by heart today, and hopefully, let it minster to us every day of our lives, especially when times get more challenging!

“And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.” Ro 8:28 BSB

Love. It is because He Loves that God does not waste anything that happens. He is the Great Recycler because He will simply reuse a situation and work it all in such a way that anything bad or ugly, can blend together into a blessing. You see, if my Baby Girl had not gone through 7&1/2 years of the awful trials she did, I would not be the strong woman of Faith that God has created me to be. It was in those impossible situations that God showed me so many miracles, deepening my Faith in Him. It was in those scary crisis she endured that helped me hold on to Jesus white knuckled, no matter what things seemed like. It was in all the provision and resources that He gave us that made me want to bless others in need as well. And of course, it was in getting to know God’s Word during it all that renewed my mind so that I am so sold out on Jesus, I don’t even know any other way to live besides learning to walk with Him.

I am who I am because God took these most heartbreaking events and worked, and continues to work, them together for my good, and it is because of His Love that I can cry with Hope. Hope that I will see my Beckie again and we will live with Jesus and the saints forever in a Paradise. We cannot even describe how great that will be. Because I know that God works all things together for my good because I love Him and have been called to His purpose, I can, not only survive, but I can thrive.
