We are God’s beloved, holy children. This last part brings me so much relief because I do not have to be perfect. My Friends, we are children! That means we are still growing, still learning, still maturing, and yes still messing up too. This is NOT an excuse, but it is just our reality, and God understands this! Praise God for His Mercy and Grace!
We are a hot mess and this is just one of the countless reasons why His Grace is so Amazing! We do not deserve it. But because The Father so loves us, because The Son has made us holy, now the Holy Spirit delights in transforming us into the image God originally designed us to be. The more we engage in this process, being aware that we need to change then having that open mind in the way that God wants us to change…all that is left is obedience. And God will help us with that too! (Php 2:13)
If we know WHO we are in Christ, we will WANT TO give God our willing heart and open mind, then life becomes more and more abundant, filled to the overflow with everything that is really good, like peace and the relaxation it offers.
