Moving to Reduce Our Risk

Won’t you celebrate with me today because this video marks the 250th “Got A Minute?” I have made!!! I sure do hope they are being a blessing to you…if they are, will you bless me by sharing them with everyone you know? Thank you so much for joining me on this journey! And now back to our topic of how being active blesses every part of us.

In addition to getting rid of all those potentially dangerous toxins, being active helps every bodily system. Being active decreases our stress levels, and along with it, the general inflammation we have throughout our bodies. We will talk about inflammation a little more when we get to the Pillar called Microbiome, but for now please understand that this inflammation is at the root cause of just about every disease known to man. When we are more active, we can manage any disease we may be experiencing better. For instance, being active can help control our blood sugar, so if you are a diabetic, the more active you get, the better you will be able to improve your health. Activity not only helps us manage illnesses, but it can also reduce our risks of these diseases, like diabetes, by decreasing the inflammation within before we develop them.

We have 12 different bodily systems and being active benefits each and every one…see list below…tomorrow, we will quickly give some benefits of how being active helps each of these.
