What sets us free, my Friends? The Truth, and the Truth alone, will set you free. In this world that is living by what “I feel,” which is constantly changing, we must be different. If I feel like being with a man today then I will, but if I feel like being with a woman tomorrow, will I do that too? Our sexuality is NOT fluid and it is not up to us to define it either. It was set by God the moment we were conceived…I am not talking about conceived in our mother’s the womb, but we were conceived in God’s heart before He even said, “Let there be light”!
Church, do we understand this or are we allowing this broken world’s agendas to become ours? Again think about the word “different”! We are talking about God’s design for life, marriage, parenting and sex. He could not be any clearer in Scripture, both Old and New Testaments. Sex is only for a husband and wife, in a committed relationship. Anything outside of this is called sexual immorality. Again, only God gets to set the standards, and we have to come to terms with His Truth, because that’s the only thing that will set us free. And yet God is filled with Mercy, He knows that we are children who will mess this up. While not condoning our disobedience, God loves us and understands our fallen nature. Thus the Cross. Today let’s thank God for His Grace and Forgiving heart, shall we?
