See the Deliverance

We have to learn to trust God no matter what happens. Sometimes we must fight along side God, but other times, only He can do what needs to be done. Listen:

“You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.’” 2Chron 20:17 NIV

So Beckie went into that surgery and the doctors did what they were trained to do…yet they still did not think she would make it. A month or so later, we took our Baby Girl back home with us, not only alive, but interacting with us as much as she was able to at that point! God had pulled Beckie through another un-survivable episode…it was all God, no doubt about it. No other explanation other than, God was not done with her here yet. He was still working with her to astound the wise…(see Isa 29:14)

There is so much more to this amazing story, but I would need much more time to share the whole thing. (You can click the link below to hear the whole story.) What I want us to see here is that, just because you and I might think something is impossible, does not always mean it is. There are some battles that we try and try to win, but only God can deliver us from these. We continue to try, but what we need to do is trust. This means continuing to grow in Christ, continuing to use the gift of discernment to know when God is urging us to do something or when He is simply saying, take your position of Faith, stand firm in Hope and watch what I will do because of My Love. Faith, Hope and Love. (see 1Co 13:13) This is the core of the Abundant Life we have been given in Christ. and the more we hold on to God, the more these virtues will rule all our decisions…and the more we will witness miracles.
