The enemy is not omniscient, do you know HOW I know? Because he would never have started this game if he knew the results…by opening the door to suffering, he has lost it all, because suffering is meant to draw us to God, to His mercy and forgiveness, to His wisdom and Love. It helps us surrender our lives to Jesus and truly become ONE with God.
In the end, the enemy does not get what he so desperately wanted. He is not a god, much less THE god. He will never be sitting on a throne, above everything and everyone. Instead he is doomed for all eternity to the lowliest and loneliest of places, separated from God and all that is good…the question is: will humans choose to join him or join God? (Dan 12:2)
But for those of us who have surrendered our lives to Jesus as Savior and Lord, we win this game because Jesus GIVES us the victory over sin, self and death. It is nothing we DO, but WHO we are that changes everything. We are loved, saved, redeemed, reconciled, and because of the Father’s Love, the Son’s sacrifice and the Holy Spirit’s indwelling, we GET to go to Heaven when our time here is done. Period. There is no other choice, it is Heaven OR hell, see Matthew 25:31-46, if you are not sure. Know WHAT you believe, don’t just let others tell you what to believe!
Now that we are His, we GET to bring Heaven down to this fallen world too, before we go. Jesus opened up Heaven FOR us, so we can bring Heaven to this dark, lonely hurting world before we go to Paradise…what an honor and privilege! One of the ways I do this is by helping you be informed, so you will not question God’s Love and Goodness. So you can pray to God and consult God’s Word. So that you will not allow others to tell you what you believe and what to think, but so that you will do your own research and lean on God to make good choices in every area of your life. Also one of the ways we can bring Heaven to this world is by being as healthy as we can be, reflecting God’s design, God’s Love, God’s Goodness, so we can love Him with all we’ve got and love others as much as we can.
We will continue talking about the Microbiome tomorrow, but never forget, whether I am talking about the body, mind, emotions or desires, I am always talking about this Game of Destruction, because everything is a spiritual battle. Praise God, Jesus has already won this game for us!
