Day 21 Bold Prayer

Hi Friends,

Yesterday was Good Friday, thank You Lord! And tomorrow is Resurrection Sunday, praise God! But today is often called Silent Saturday because His disciples were both sorrowful and very confused and could do nothing but wait. Waiting is a huge part of life, but it is what we DO as we wait that makes all the difference. It is estimated that we can spend about 60 hours a year just waiting at red lights! But HOW are we waiting? Are we drumming our fingers on the steering wheel, trying to WILL that light to turn green? Or are we taking that time to thank God for something, like maybe the beautiful clouds in that gorgeous blue sky? See? What we do as we wait either adds goodness to our lives OR drains it. Today I hope we will choose to wait patiently, trust God is working in the background and, in the meantime, do good.

Trust God and do good. God has been waiting for His people, called by His Name to humble ourselves, to seek Him, to pray and to turn away from any sin in our lives so that He could heal these nations. Now it may be our turn to wait as He does what only He can do, rid this planet of this COVID-19 pandemic. As we continue to wait for God to do His part, let’s purposely look for needs to fill, people to comfort or prayers to lift up.

It has been a pleasure bringing these little messages to you these past 21 days. I hope they have blessed you as much as they have been a blessing to me. Thank you for your comments and know that, if you have any questions or prayer requests, you can reach out to me. Keep believing and keep praying, my Friends!

Until we meet again, keep lifting your eyes to God, He’s closer than you think.

<>< Peace, Diane

    1. As they say, we do not need to fear the unknown because we have a God who knows it all. Keep surrendering your fears to Him and trust Him to work it all together for good. Please see 1Jn 4:18 and Ro 8:28 for more encouragement Love ya, Sister!
