Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, give us this day our daily bread…Jesus is talking about so much more than just food here, my Friends. Whatever it is we need for that day, for that moment, for that decision we must make, God desires to supply us. This will nourish our growing relationship with Him because it will help us experience His Kingdom more and more. We will sense peace, joy and righteousness in the Holy Spirit which will connect us deeper with our Father, and hopefully, with one another too.
As we turn to God for our daily needs, we will be able to fulfill the two greatest commands: to love God with all we’ve got and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. That will not only fill our bellies, but more importantly, our hearts.
