Magnify

Say it by heart today, then let’s lean on God to live it out, every day.

“This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Ps 118:24 NLT

Hi Friends, Diane here. Today is the day the Lord has made, and no matter what happens in it- the good, the bad or the ugly- as we trust God more and more, we will choose to rejoice and be glad in it, more and more. Not because every single thing is so amazing…but because our Amazing God is in it, with us, through it all…and we can trust His Love and be grateful for His Presence, in and around us.

Complaints come from a lack of gratitude, which causes us to lack contentment, which causes us to not fully experience the Abundant Life. It is our choice: murmuring and complaining OR praising and worshipping. Here’s the truth: I recently heard Joyce Meyer say, “If we are not thankful for the blessings, the people, the provisions we already have, why would God give us more? What you focus on has the ability to make you either happy or miserable.” My Friends, we magnify what we focus on. Just like with a magnifying glass, what we place at the center of our attention gets “bigger” and has more influence over us, for good or bad. As we grow in Christ, knowing WHO and Whose we are, we will choose to magnify God’s Love, and we will start to see the goodness He desires in all types of situations. His Love will become bigger and clearer to us so we CAN choose to rejoice and be glad, no matter what.
